Managed CRO

For many years, the traditional way for small to medium sized businesses to contract out their clinical studies was to find a full service CRO to take over their studies. Many companies with few resources took this to mean that they could simply hand over their studies to a CRO for them to manage. Most of us now know that this is wrong as the sponsor is still ultimately responsible for the studies and the data that comes out of them.
