Meet the MVG Team
Maryanne Visconti Gottfried
President and Founder
Maryanne Visconti Gottfried is the President and founder of MVG Consulting Services. Inc. She started the company in 1998 to provide clinical research consulting services to smaller biotech and pharmaceutical companies as an alternative to using large CROs. Maryanne is a clinical research professional with over two decades of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry working at small to medium sized companies in several capacities including data management, medical writing, and clinical operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Boston State College and a Master of Science in Business from Lesley University.
In my almost 25 years in the Pharma/Biotech industry, my MVG Consulting colleagues were some of the best folks I have had the honor to work alongside. Their expertise is top notch, they fully understand the business and ever-changing landscape, they are flexible, and are extremely professional and easy to work with.
Vicky Gallant is a clinical Quality Assurance professional with over 20 years of experience in QA working for large CROs as well as with small companies. Her experience includes document control, training coordination/administration, SOP writing, conducting various GCP audits (Internal Processes, Clinical Study Reports, Trial Master Files), and has served as part of a team in implementing an Electronic Data Management System for quality documents and training. Vicky has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Society of Quality Assurance.
Emma Schiller is the Director of Project Management for MVG Consulting, overseeing all internal projects and maintaining client relations. In addition to her management of internal MVG projects, she acts as a Clinical Project Manager focused in regulatory compliance and submission preparation for our clients. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Healthcare Economics from Bates College.
Linda C. Winfrey has been with MVG Consulting for over 10 years and in clinical operations almost 30 years. She has worked in capacities such as on-site coordinator, CTM, PL and DM for smaller biotech and major CROs, sponsor roles including blinded and unblinded team management, as well as auditing, gap assessments and project oversight. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Granite State College.
Prior to joining MVG Consulting as Office Manager, Jean was the Manager of Customer Satisfaction at EBSCO Information Services for their consumer health product, Health Library. Throughout her career, she held positions in the healthcare and health informatics industries in Operations, Customer Satisfaction, Project Management, and Sales and Marketing. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Lesley College.
Priti Patel
Senior Quality Assurance Consultant
Priti Patel is a highly skilled QA consultant with over 19 years of experience including quality/regulatory compliance, quality systems management, auditing, lot disposition activities, electronic system usage, and validation of EDMS/Quality System Software. She has experience in GCP, GLP and GMP environments and expertise with FDA compliance, specifically 21 CFR Part 11, 211 and 820 as well as ISO standards. Priti holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from UMass Lowell and is pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Trial Management from Temple University.
